 It’s no secret in the food industry: if you don’t have vegan options available, you are absolutely leaving money on the table.

The market for vegan and plant-based foods is projected to continue expanding for the foreseeable future. If major international chains like Burger King, Dunkin’ Donuts, and KFC are cashing-in on this unstoppable trend, why not you?

When a group of friends, families, or couples on date night are deciding where to share a meal together, changes are extremely high that at least one of them has a dietary restriction or allergy. Most vegans I know are tired of eating the standard options of a house salad, hummus platter, and french fries; sometimes if we’re “lucky” there’s a black bean burger or a vegetable curry from a can… Alternatively, a standard menu item might be altered beyond recognition to accommodate a vegan or allergy-sensitive diner, inevitably disappointing the diner and preventing the restaurant from impressing and retaining a potential customer.

By adding just a few creative plant-based, vegan, or allergy-sensitive items to your menu, you will attract new customers on the hunt for unique and thoughtful vegan options as well as excite and surprise customers who expected to settle for whatever food was available to them.

Whether you’re looking to add vegan options to your standard menu, need a few vegan options for your catering services, or wish to liven up your weekly specials, I know that I can develop recipes that serve your needs while delivering the expected fun and flavor your regular diners crave.

I am excited to work with you and your kitchen to add creative vegan dishes consistent with style of the existing menu in a seamless way. This will require that I meet with you and your kitchen staff, observe service, and review available equipment and cold-storage spaces. From there, I will present menu options for us to test for flavor and placement in the kitchen, as well as an inventory list of ingredients your restaurant already orders as well as those that would be new. After the new menu items are tested and approved, I will provide training for your kitchen and serving staff on the new items as well as vegan or allergy-sensitive food preparation and ingredients.

My current rate for these services is $25/hr (4 hour minimum), though if you’d prefer a fixed total fee, I am certainly happy to accommodate.
